The HR Audit: How to Know Where Your Business Really Stands
Most HR audits produce a 60-page PDF that nobody reads. Here's how to run one that actually changes behaviour.
An HR audit should answer three questions: what's legally exposed, what's operationally broken, and what's quietly costing the business money.
Score eight dimensions: documentation, policies, absence, performance, onboarding/offboarding, manager capability, systems, and retention signals.
Each dimension gets a RAG rating and one specific, costed action. Total document length: ten pages, maximum. If it's longer, nothing will get done.
